This is a specialized treatment is used to save the teeth which are severely damaged due to a deep cavity, fracture or sometimes due to severe or advances periodontal (gum) disease. The procedure involves removal of the diseased and infected pulp, once the infected pulp is removed; the canals are disinfected, cleaned, and sealed. This procedure is done under local anesthesia.
